Kim Istenic is a Slovene architect, currently working in Paris. She graduated from Masters in Architecture program at the Faculty of Architecture of University of Ljubljana in 2017. She completed a year of her master studies at L’École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Paris La Villette and later spent five months working in the competitions department at Sauerbruch Hutton Architects in Berlin.
During her studies she actively participated in several workshops, competitions and research projects, winning a competition organised by Lightning Guerrila Festival Ljubljana, participating in Meetings of Design Students in Bucharest in 2016 and carried out a research project on the identity of chinese architecture in a two-month trip to China together with Eloi Gonçalves in 2017. Her projects have been exhibited at the Urban Voids exhibition at Ljubljana Town Hall, D-Day Design exhibition in Zagreb, Croatia and at the XIII Tallinn Design Festival.
